Brian Polsinello

Brian was appointed Managing Director, Portfolio Management and Operations, in August 2026. Brian is responsible for executing the global Private Equity strategy, including governance, portfolio oversight and operational strategy across Direct Private Equity and Private Capital. He joined OMERS in 2020 and spent six years as a Managing Director in the Portfolio Group, supporting portfolio companies with strategy and growth across industrial and healthcare services.
Before OMERS, Brian was a Manager at Bain & Company in the London, Toronto and New York offices, where he was a member of the firm's Industrial Goods, Performance Improvement and Private Equity practices. Brian led engagements across a variety of sectors to help clients with cost improvement, value creation planning, growth strategy, organizational design, and merger & acquisitions diligence.
He started his career at UBS Investment Bank and worked in the London and Toronto offices.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, where he was an Ivey Scholar, and a Master of Business Administration degree with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
