Plan
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time. OMERS inaugural Climate Action Plan (CAP) sets out the steps on our pathway aiming towards Net Zero 2050.

By prioritizing sustainability ambitions, we can create meaningful change over the span of our hold period. Across our portfolio we have invested in companies that are addressing key sustainability issues as part of their business strategy.
KAG continues to focus on their recycling initiatives.
Since 2019 KAG has recycled more than 80% of its tires and eliminated more than 1.7 million lbs. of tire waste due to retreading.

ESG Data Convergence
The ESG Data Convergence Project Initiative is a partnership of private equity stakeholders committed to streamlining the industry’s approach to collecting and reporting ESG data. The metrics are used to measure progress on key ESG topics such as GHG emissions, diversity, and employee engagement.
Diversity VC
The Diversity VC Standard is an assessment and certification process that signals a fund’s commitment to and action on diversity and inclusion. We are committed to the journey of improving diversity and inclusion across our team and fully support more equitable representation across our ecosystem.
