George Barsness is a Director at OMERS Private Equity in New York, and is responsible for the origination, execution and management of investments in the business services sector. He is a board member of Integris and North Highland and actively supports OMERS investment in Epiq.

George joined OMERS in 2022 and has 15 years of professional experience, including prior investing roles at Gemspring Capital and The Carlyle Group. He began his career as an investment banker.

George holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University and a MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently lives in Connecticut with his wife and three daughters.
