Geoffrey Bird

Geoff Bird is Managing Director, Head of Business Services and is based in New York. Geoff is primarily focused on new investments in the business services and healthcare services sector, and has been actively involved with, or on the board of, several current and former investments, including Medical Knowledge Group, Paradigm, Inmar, Epiq, CHG Healthcare, Nordco and Marketwired.
Joining OMERS in 2007, Geoff has over 15 years of private equity experience, before which he worked for several years with Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance group in Toronto, where he was involved in a variety of transaction-related advisory services.
Geoff has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University. He holds a CPA and is also a CFA® charterholder.
Geoff currently resides in New York with his wife and three children.
