Biography
Shagun is a Director with the OMERS HR group and partners with and supports the Global Head of OMERS Private Equity and his leadership team to develop and execute HR strategies and programs that enable the achievement of business objectives while remaining grounded and aligned to the OMERS key imperatives. Key programs supported and strategic advice provided around talent management, succession planning, resource planning and employee engagement. She joined the team in October 2020. Shagun resides in New York city with her husband and two sons.
Prior to joining OMERS, Shagun worked for over 15 years with JPMorgan where she started her career in different roles across business process improvement and project management and spent many years building her career in a niche internal consulting and strategy group for the Investment banking business. She ultimately turned her attention to consulting on human capital strategy and made the formal switch to HR in 2015. Her last role was as the Head HRBP for the NY Private Bank at JPMorgan, the largest and most successful private bank market for JPM.
Shagun holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Economics from Mumbai University, India
